Pay Once, Cry Once.. (Careers Workshop this Thursday)

Hi Folks,

I want to share a story with you and I want you to understand that I am not telling you this to brag just to make a very important point about doing things the ‘right’ way.

Some of you know that I started playing golf in February of this year. I was terrible! I knew I wanted to get better so I enrolled in a group clinic to teach me the basics. After completing 3 clinics I have moved on to getting one on one coaching from the pro, Andrew Humble, which has been so beneficial. Well, to cut a long story short 9 months later on Saturday I won the competition at my local club, Fremantle.

The reason why I have got so much better so quickly is entirely due to getting the right coaching from the start and not developing those ‘bad habits’ that affect so many people’s games. I still have a long way to go and I am positive my improvement will continue to be as rapid because I am getting the right advice and training tools at the right time.

This same reasoning applies to us in our fitness businesses. I know you are a great trainer and have all the skills you need to help people achieve their health and fitness goals. What you might not have is the tools, strategies and systems to get better qualified more committed clients who can and will afford your top level of training.

My point here is no matter what we do if we invest the time and money to learn and be coached by an expert then we will have almost instant success, just like my golf game. If we fumble and stumble along thinking that we can just ‘figure it out’ by ourselves then the cost, emotional and financial, can become overwhelming.

A great mentor of mine, Mal Emery, once told me to “Pay Once, Cry Once” and then benefit from that investment forever. I suggest you do the same in any areas that you see as a weakness in your fitness business.

To Your Success,

Ric Isaac

P.S. For those of you who would like to attend our latest workshop in Melbourne on the 8th of October, go to www.ProfitableFitnessCareers.com or call 1300 484 006 and book your seat NOW as there is strictly limited seats. See you there!
